Mount McKinley (Denali) National Park
Denali National Park is formerly known as Mount McKinley National Park. The park features Mount McKinley the highest mountain in North America. In total the park encompasses over 6,000,000 acres, which is larger than the land area of New Hampshire. The low elevations of Denali Park include taiga with tundra in the middle elevations and glaciers at the highest elevations. Park activities include dog sledding, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. The park averages about 600,000 visitors per year. I, William Alexander Scherzinger, have not visited this park.

There is one single road over 92 miles long that runs through the park. The park also includes bus service that runs from the entrance visitor lodge. There are many different types of wildlife and plant species only found in Alaska including the Caribou, some sub species of brown bear and Dall sheep. There are several non-native species in the park including common dandelion and narrowleaf hawksbeard.
